Tellus is an HMI emulator. It can be used it 2 ways:

Tellus HMI - Allows a Panel or Industrial PC to be directly connected to PLCs, temperature controllers, VFD’s and more using RS-232C/485 serial ports and Ethernet ports using the same application that is normally downloaded to our Monitouch V-Series HMIs. There is no need for a V series operator interface panel in such a configuration. A PC can perform all functions of the V series operator interface panel.

From Tellus HMI you can run other applications such as Excel, and load functions using a DLL. This gives you the flexibility to integrate Tellus with other applications. Also, using our DDE service you can easily integrate with other DDE applications like Microsoft Office.

Tellus Remote – Allows you to establish remote access to the data on your production floor. With V-Server, Tellus Remote allows a PC to perform all Monitouch functions (Switch operation, equipment monitoring, etc.) as if you were standing in front of the panel. Simply by uploading the existing application from the panel, you can view the screens from the production site in your office. You can synchronize the screen operation of your PC and the operator interface panel, or operate them independently. You can also create a new monitoring screen using V-SFT (display editing software) to run a project independently from the HMI.

In the past, remote control and monitoring systems required multiple software programs to integrate various components, thus adding to the overall system complexity. TELLUS simplifies configuration of the remote control and monitoring systems, and offers quick and easy installation and user-friendly operation.
